Electrical Engineer - Electrical / I&C/Nuclear/Design / Mods 40-52.88 $/hr

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
Immediate Need in the Atlanta Area for an Electrical or I & C Design Engineer for Nuclear Power Generation systems with BSEE or equivalent experience on design of nuclear power plant systems.. Experience should include basic knowledge in power distribution including high (220V and less) and low voltage systems, electronic control systems, etc. and/or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), including commissioning and installation. Experience should include testing hardware or software for specific applications for safety I&C. Familiar with conduit routing, wiring diagrams, schematics design, power systems, etc. Will work under the supervision of senior level engineers and produce design work to be formalized by CAD operators. Must have experience with commercial nuclear power generation plant design electrical systems.
Experience in writing test procedures of the SW and HW design, testing of the SW and HW before delivery, and supervision of installation and commissioning of I&C. Knowledge of digital I&C, preferably Siemens systems, of I&C design engineering of Power Plants, writing test procedures, and testing I&C equipment. Experience with procedures for digital I&C, engineering of I&C systems in Power Plants, and I&C commissioning in Power Plants.

• Describe your experience with design of electrical systems for nuclear power plants. What has been your specific position and role? Explain some of your responsibilities for the nuclear power generation plants have you designed electrical systems for?
