Louisville area metal forming company has an immediate need for a Controller with Cost Accounting experience. The selected Plant Controller will manage and maintain an efficient and economically sound planning and control system in line with Group policies to control and monitor the business success in compliance with legal regulations. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; At least 2 years previous experience in other financial jobs (audit, treasury, tax); Previous plant level experience; Cost accounting and financial experience; Possess current technical and functional knowledge of the business and industry; Ability to analyze issues and note financial indicators. RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in the development and achievement of strategy and objectives; Monitor adherence to plans and budgets; Ensure proper statutory and financial reporting and payment; Manage the investment request procedure and ensure economic evaluation of local investment projects; Implement and manage cost-systems to ensure evaluation of respective financial results; Monitor the day-to-day working capital management, Ensure effective and efficient plant operation by optimizing work methods, the organization, the process and the allocation and utilization of resources.
