Operations Manager - Operations/Control Room/Shift 40-50 $/hr

Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for two Operations Supervisors with 7-10+ years of operations experience in a process plant or power plant environment. This is for a 4-6+ month plant start up where you will be working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. One position is a day shift and the other is a night shift. The ideal candidate will have operations experience working in a chemical process plant (ethanol, biofuel, etc....) and is familiar with the distillation process. You need 3+ years of experience as an Operations Supervisor or Lead Control Room Operator running a control room and managing Control Room Operators. Any specific experience with Delta-V DCS would be considered a plus. Any specific commissioning and startup experience on ethanol or biofuel plants would be a plus. Our client prefers candidates that understand contracts and contractual obligations as you will be a point man with the client on operations and start-up issues, once up to speed. You need to be able to start work ASAP! Client will pay for mob, demob, and a per diem.
Questions you will be asked:

• How many years of experience do you have a an Operations Supervisor running a control room and managing Control Room Operators in a power plant or chemical process plant?

• Are you ok with work 7, 12 hour days? Are you flexible on working either night or day shift?

• Do you have specific operations experience in a process plant like an Ethanol plant or Biofuel plant?

• Are you familiar with teh distillation process in a chemical process plant?

• What is your desired hourly rate? When can you mobilize to start work?
