Our client, a well established manufacturer representative firm specializing in electrical equipment sales to the emergency power, power generation, electric utility and industrial markets, is actively searching for an outside sales person for the eastern states of VA, MD, DE, and DC. This is a home based position requiring significant travel mostly in central and southern Virginia so the candidate must live within the territory.

While previous outside sales experience is not mandatory, experience within the electrical industry is required. In addition, candidates must have an engineering degree (EE or ME degree is preferred) along with proficiency with a PC including MS Office and Outlook. The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills that works well in a team environment.
