An engineering and construction client is looking for Project Managers for electrical substation and transmission projects, working from their offices in Pittsburgh or Charlotte. They need experienced decisive professionals with at least 5 to 10 years experience as a project manager on substation and T&D projects, under a variety of project types including EPC, fixed price, time and materials, and cost plus. You will manage all aspects and phases of multiple projects, from project proposal to startup and handoff. This includes leading project personnel, maintaining excellent project communications through effective meetings and reporting, ensuring all project measures of success are achieved including safety and profitability, managing schedules and change orders, managing contract negotiations, and managing project controls, You should also be able to recognize new business opportunities and develop it as needed. Proficiency with software such as MS Project or Primavera is a must, and you should have a good working knowledge of financial systems. BS degree in engineering or business is desired, as is PMP certification. The client is open to both direct hire and long term contract hire. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

• Do you have a college degree? PMP certification?

• What is your most recent salary?
