GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!! A well established energy company has two contract openings of one year's duration for IT Project Managers. One position is located in the metro Chicago, IL area, and the other is located in the greater Green Bay, WI area (strong preference for local candidates). The successful candidates will be responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities: Executing all aspects of project management processes from initiation through close-out on small to medium complexity projects or components of larger projects or programs. This includes multiple related projects. You may work at the direction of a more senior project manager or leader on larger projects and interact with all personnel affected by the projects, including business partners, vendors, and all areas of IT. Additionally, you will be responsible for the project management deliverables in all project management areas, including scope management, acquiring resources, project scheduling, cost tracking, adherence to quality standards, change management, project communications, risk management, and procurement. Qualified candidates must be familiar with the role and function of each project team member effectively to coordinate the activities of the team. Candidates need the following MINIMUM levels of experience: 5 years working in a professional IT role; 3 years of formal / informal leadership; 3 years leading IT projects utilizing formal project management methodology; 3 years MS-Project experience. Microsoft Project Server experience is a bonus. This job offers an excellent pay rate and per diem will be considered for qualified candidates. APPLY NOW!!
