IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in the state of Georgia has an immediate need for an Associate Satellite Systems Engineer. The primary focus of this position will be to assist the senior engineers with design, assembly, integration, and testing of satellite communications systems. The client is looking for hands on individuals with the knowledge and desire to learn. This is a temp to perm position. BEE (Bachelors in Electronics Engineering), BSEE (B.S. Electrical Engineering), or BET (Bachelors in Electronics Technology) is required. Military experience is a plus. This position will support the Senior Systems Engineers in the development of both satellite-based and terrestrial telecommunication systems. Systems will include gateway earth stations, domestic networks, and video broadcast and rebroadcast stations. Candidates must be familiar with SATCOM hardware and SATCOM test equipment (antenna, HPA, LNA, RF converter, modem, video encoder, IRD, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, power meter, signal generator, MLA, protocol analyzer, noise figure meter, etc.). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software is required. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The posted pay range is just an approximation.
