A National Telecommunications Company is aggressively seeking multiple REMOTE FIELD TECHNICIANS in the Virginia Beach, VA area. This qualified Field Technician, will need to perform MAC work (Moves,Adds,Changes) to Telco and Data service at the Goddard (NASA) Complex. This candidate will be dispatched from their residence, to install, trouble shoot for maintenance, and in some cases de-install telephone, data and video services circuitry, and the associated terminal equipment (CSU's, Routers etc.). Technicians will be stationed out of their homes and be responsible for a coverage area roughly 150 miles in diameter and must be willing to travel overnight. Quick response time will be necessary in this position. Candidates will be Installing, testing and turning up Voice, Video and Data networking equipment to include: routers, multiplexers, CSU/DSUs, Optical networking gear and Install, test and terminate copper and fiber structured cabling solutions. They must be available 24x7 for dispatch calls, be able to perform without direct supervision. Must have a basic knowledge and ability to program DSU's and CSU's, also routers and fiber terminal equipment and they should be able to provide in field services including extended wiring for POT's lines thru DS3 circuits and the ability to terminate all Telco mediums (twisted pair, cable, coax and fiber to BISCII standards). Does not require BISCII certification. CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS BASIC Telco TOOLS and a LADDER. Salary and compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All CANDIDATES MUST PASS GOVERMENT CLEARANCE BEFORE ACCEPTING THIS JOB.

• Are you willing to take a Temp to Perm position that requires you to drive a minimum of 150 miles paid?
• Please specify how close do you live to Goddard (NASA) Complex and by how many miles?
