Great opportunity located just outside of Louisville, KY! World leading manufacturer of its specialty products is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform activities associated with the design, fabrication, installation, start-up and repair of electrical equipment, facilities, components, products and systems. You will direct and coordinate engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment, control devices and systems for manufacturing uses while ensuring that all work and operational testing conforms to functional specifications and requirements. You may supervise and coordinate workers engaged in the operation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment and systems. You may specialize in a specific area of discipline, such as electrical energy generation, transmission and distribution systems; or products such as appliances, generators, transformers, control devices and relays; or area of work, such as manufacturing, applications or installation. You must be able to utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and to confer with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve problems. You must have a combination of education or work experience that demonstrates your ability to perform the activities required. This is a contract position with the possibility of converting to permanent - a great opportunity for the candidate that demonstrates the potential to grow and assume leadership responsibilities in a global company.
