IMMEDIATE NEED for a Senior Design Engineer for aboveground storage tanks in the Tulsa, OK area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Perform advanced design checks on tanks, foundations, structural systems, and floating roofs. Develop new automated design programs using MathCAD. Produce design concept sketches using AutoCAD. Perform floating roof analysis per API-650. Perform API-653 tank shell settlement analysis. Perform seismic analysis of API tanks and foundations.

REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years related engineering experience. B.S. or M.S. in Engineering is required. Education and experience must include exposure to steel structural design and analysis.
Working knowledge of tank standards, including API-620, API-650, API-653, ASME Section VIII Div 1 and 2, and AWWA-D100. Preferred knowledge of beam on elastic foundation analysis and application to ring foundations and pontoon floating roofs. Preferred knowledge of numerical methods of structural analysis. Previous experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD program is required; prior experience with MathCAD is preferred. Professional Engineer License is preferred.
