Large US Defense Company.has an immediate need for a Structural Design Engineer.Excellent hourly rate.1 year plus contract in Long Island New York area.
Job Description:
Airframe structural designer with 10 years or more experience and a minimum of 6 years CATIA V4 experience.
Knowledge of EIDS ( Exterior Intrusion Detection System) and Enovia VPM ( Virtual Product Modeling) a plus. Bachelors Degree (AE, ME, or comparable engineering discipline) or equivant experience.
Basic Qualifications: Knowledge and experience (6 years minimum) with CATIA V4 solid modeling and 2D drafting. 4 years minimum airframe structure and/or systems design experience.
Questions you will be asked:
• Please describe your airframe structural design experience. Please provide details on what you designed and what kind of aircraft you have worked on.
• Please describe your experience in using Catia V4 cad software. How many hours of experience do you have. What levels have you worked with?
• Do you have experience or knowledge of EIDS ( Exterior Intrusion Detection System) and Enovia VPM ( Virtual Product Modeling) ? If so please provide details
• Please describe your aircraft structure design experience. Please provide details on what you designed and what kind of aircraft you have worked on.
• Where do you currently live? Why are you interested in a position in Long Island, New York area?
