IMMEDIATE NEEDS! Client in the Corrugated Packaging industry is actively looking for a Corporate Engineer to support all Corrugated Packaging plants on engineering & environmental related issues! This position is a WORK FROM HOME opportunity, but candidate should live east of the Mississippi and be willing to travel 60% to 80% of the time within the continental USA! The Engineer MUST HAVE a BS or MS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Degree and 5 years of project management, engineering and/or maintenance experience at a plant or corporate level. MUST HAVE 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager, Engineer or Production Manager in the corrugated industry! Experience working in union environments and a PE License is Desired! The right person will need to be proficient in AutoCad, MS Project, Word, Excel and be able to read and interpret construction drawings. Duties will include, but not limited too; monitoring the performance and effectiveness of key manufacturing, maintenance and utility measurements in support of each operation (i.e. machine down time, steam use, chemical consumption, air use, water use, fuel gas/oil use, etc.) Assist with development of Proposed Annual Capital Projects and conduct Risk Management assessments for Corrugated Packaging facilities including insurance, regulatory and safety liabilities. Prepare, update, and provide training as required for regulatory compliance reporting and assist plants to minimize maintenance, utility costs, down time and maximize machine utilization. NO RELOCATION ASSISTANCE! WORK FROM HOME! 60% TO 80% TRAVEL WITHIN THE USA!
