IMMEDIATE NEED!!!!.....Our client is an electrical testing & technical services company specializing in commissioning, start up and maintenance testing of high voltage electrical substations & systems for utility clients. They are looking for a Commissioning Project Manager (or Lead Commissioning Engineer) for their office in the Manchester, NH area. You need 10-15+ years of experience working for a Utility, Protective Relay OEM or a T&D services company. Salary is commensurate with experience, education and applicant's abilities. The client offers vacation, 401k, great pay, relocation assistance, & medical benefits.

Responsibilities:

-> Coordinating work connected with the testing and/or commissioning of electrical distribution and transmission substations for utility clients
-> Provide direct supervision over startup personnel along with other suppliers such as contractor, electricians and engineering staff
-> Consult with clients to determine their needs and priorities
-> Provide written procedures for switching, energizing, isolation methods for testing and commissioning work
-> Coordinate and oversee substation Technicians, Electricians and serve as Project Manager

Requirements:

-> 10-15+ years of experience working for a Utility, Protective Relay OEM or a T&D services company
-> 5+ years of experience commissioning & starting up high voltage substations & associated equipment
-> Experience with transformers, circuit breakers, relays, switchgear, CCVT, ABS, RTU, & associated substation equipment
-> Strong background in protection and control circuits in transmission substations
-> Our client prefers candidates with a BSEE degree, but would also be interested in non-degreed candidates with enough exact experience
-> Evaluation of testing data for power circuit breakers, transformers and other substation components
-> Familiarity with the programming and testing transmission type relays such as Schweitzer, GE, Areva and ABB relays would be a PLUS

• Do you have experience as a Commissioning Engineer or Startup Engineer working on high voltage substation projects (new substations & existing substations)?

• Detail your experience with the following: transformers, circuit breakers, relays, switchgear, CCVT, ABS, RTU, & associated substation equipment.

• Do you have strong background in protection & control circuits for substations?

• Do you have any experience programming and testing transmission type relays such as Schweitzer, GE, Areva and ABB?
