Excellent protection relay APPLICATION ENGINEER growth opportunity with a highly regarded firm. HOME BASED anywhere west of the Mississippi with access to a major airport. Travel up to 50% in North America.

Responsibilities:

-> Interface with electric utility customers providing Protection Relay application engineering support, resolving issues, and providing consultation in component selection for power system applications primarily to utility and power generation
-> Serve as liaison between the customer and sales and engineering
-> Train sales representatives, support product planning, and participate in industry events

Requirements:

-> BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
-> Minimum 5 to 10+ years Protection Relay technical experience
-> Solid experience in testing relays
-> Solid experience in commissioning relays
-> Must have good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
-> A PLUS to have familiarity with using JD Edwards inventory and accounting software

• Please describe your Protection Relay applications and other Electrical Engineering experience particularly that related to the Electric Utility and other Power Generation industry.

• Please describe your experience in (a) Testing Protection Relays, (b) Commissioning Protection Relays, (c) other experience you may have in Application Engineering or Field Service Engineering.

• Please verify you have a BSEE degree and list your education and relevant training and certifications.

• Where do you currently reside and When are you available?
