Quality Assurance Manager - QA Supervisor/Nuclear/NQA-1/10CFR

Location: Chattanooga, TN, USA
Immediate position available in the Southeastern US with a great company, for a Quality Assurance Supervisor preferably from the nuclear power industry. Relocation will be considered.

Responsibilities:

-> Duties will include the following: planning, performing and reporting QA audits, inspection and surveillance as required
-> Must be able to evaluate and document findings, along with managing corrective actions to insure they meet requirements of projects
-> Responsible for maintaining QA documents and records
-> Responsible for performing document review, including review of Site QA Plan, procedures and other client and internal documents
-> Duties include planning QC staff work at the work site, delegate work, supervise QA/QC staff as assigned and evaluating employee performance
-> Responsible for developing and revising corporate QA plans and procedures as required

Requirements:

-> Education requirements are open but would prefer BS Degree or relevant industry experience
-> Requires a strong familiarity and working experience, at least 10 years with NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B and other nuclear quality ad reporting requirements, such as 10CFR21, n a nuclear plant or headquarter setting
-> Previous commercial nuclear plant experience in an operating plant is preferred
-> Supervisory experience will include managing staff, delegating work, and evaluation of performance
-> Experience with conducting vendor surveillance, during manufacturing, assembling and fabricating at supplier's facilities on as-required basis
-> Experience with providing QA coverage during construction activities and outages as required

• What relevant degrees do you have? Please verify you interested in a position the Southern US.

• Describe your experience in Quality Assurance - Quality Control field in nuclear power plants, other nuclear facilities or in heavy industrial fabrication and or construction. Describe your experience in planning, performing and reporting QA audits, inspection and surveillance.

• Describe your working experience, at least 10 years with NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B and other nuclear quality ad reporting requirements, such as 10CFR21, in a nuclear plant or headquarters setting

• Describe your experience with document reviews, including revised project procedures and other document developed within and by suppliers of products and services. Describe your experience providing QA coverage during manufacturing, assembling, and fabrication as required. Describe your experience with construction QA coverage and experience in developing and revising QA documents and procedures. Do you have knowledge and experience with maintaining and retaining QA documents and records? Explain.
