Superintendent - Paper Mfg./Operations/Maintenance

VERY HOT NEED: Large company has an immediate need in the Southern area of the U.S for a Superintendent of Operations & Maintenance of a Pulp and Paper facility. Relocation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

-> Responsible for development of the paper machine operation (including people, methods, materials, machinery, and process)
-> Responsible for optimizing the overall profitability of the business
-> Responsible for optimization of continuous, reliable, and repeatable operation
-> Responsible for environmental of operational performance
-> Responsible for safety and training of paper machine crews and direct reports
-> Accountable for analyzing financial reports to maintain or reduce annual operating budget
-> Responsible for process reliability with optimum equipment efficiency through coordination of maintenance resources

Requirements:

-> Requires a BS engineering degree (Electrical, Process or Mechanical) (or Paper Chemistry)
-> Requires 5-10 years experience as a Process Engineer or Paper Machine Supervisor
-> Requires experience with maintenance of paper machine and stock preparation assets
-> Experience with developing methods and standards that insure repeatable performance as measured by paper machine speed and overall paper machine efficiency
-> Experience with continually improving end-use paper performance
-> Experience with safety and safety compliance within a paper mill operation
