Geotechnical Engineer - Transportation/Water Resources/Subsurface

A well established engineering consulting firm in the West Palm Beach area has an immediate need for a Sr. Geotechnical Engineer/Department Manager.

Responsibilities:

-> Manage the Geotechnical Engineering Department, including direct supervision of 5 Jr. Engineers
-> Provide expertise in all areas of Geotechnical project work, including Exploration, Laboratory, Construction Support and Engineering Services
-> Assist in building business and adding new clients for the company

Requirements:

-> BS in Engineering or other related technical field
-> Licensed PE in the state of Florida
-> Minimum of 15 years hands-on Geotechnical experience
-> Extensive experience with Transportation project work is preferred (roadways, bridges, drainage, noise walls, sign & signal structures, etc.)
-> Experience with projects involving Water Resources (reservoirs, storm water treatment areas, pump stations, spillways, water control structures) is very strongly desired
-> High-rise project experience is also preferred
