Electrical Engineer - Nuclear Plant/Design/Modification 30-42.98 $/hr

Electrical Engineers Apply Now! Kansas power plant seeks a skilled Electrical Engineer on a contract / short term basis for upcoming outage. The duration is the end of September through mid November 2009. Paid mobilization and demobilization and per diem offered. MUST HAVE nuclear plant experience! This is a great opportunity interviewing now!

Responsibilities:

-> Work within nuclear plant to complete assigned duties during outage / shutdown
-> Prepare calculations
-> Perform reviews, assemble and prepare design modification packages
-> Develop models and design specifications of electrical systems

Requirements:

-> BS or equivalent nuclear experience required
-> Prior power system design experience, preferably at nuclear power plants
-> Experience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systems
-> Proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations
-> Proficient in Word and Excel with writing, presentation and communication skills
-> Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
-> Broad knowledge of industry and regulatory standards pertaining to the power industry, a plus
