Telecommunications Engineer - Ericcson/Nortel/GSM 35-40 $/hr

A leading telecommunications network provider has an opening for Cell Site Translations Engineer in its Atlanta metro area office. You will be a member of a team that is responsible for the continued build out for the Ericsson/Nortel Network. You MUST have 5+ years Cell Site translation experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Create/Augment and implement BTS scripts in support of network growth
-> Create/Augment BTS scripts and define them on the MSC
-> Perform site augmentations for Ericsson to include Dip Assignments (creating scripts for T1 adds and removals) and BTS Re-homes (creating scripts for rebalancing sites from one BSC)
-> Communicate and resolve technical issues verbally and in writing

Requirements:

-> AT LEAST 5 + years of prior switch translations experience
-> Ericsson BSC proficiency
-> Familiar with Nortel MSC
-> Strong project management and leadership skills
-> Knowledge of GSM and UMTS technology
