Client has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Director of Planning with a background in the manufacturing industry. This position is located in WI. Pay DOE.

Responsibilities:

-> You will perform day-to-day management of the division's project planning function, this includes leading a team of planners and coordinators
-> Assist Project Managers and others in the development of project schedules, resource plans and budgets during the bid and proposal phase
-> Develop, prepare, and analyze integrated program plans, schedules, and budgets; develop business case analyses; and perform financial analyses
-> Assess business performance and prepare financial following receipt of project contract, develops baseline schedules, resource plans and budgets
-> Coordinate and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly project reports to Senior Management
-> Maintains and statuses project schedules, cost and resource plans
-> Coordinate project estimate at completion (EAC) efforts

Requirements:

-> BS in an Engineering or Technical discipline and 10-15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
-> Prior experience in a technical or engineering role such as Program Manager or Project Engineer
-> Significant experience with project scheduling software (Primavera), P3e preferred (we are not seeking construction schedulers)
-> Strong working knowledge of Earned Value Management
-> 2+ years of government contract scheduling experience, DoD experience preferred
-> PMP Certification is a plus
-> Prior DoD or Navy experience is a plus
