Mechanical Engineer - Antenna/Mechanical/Manufacturing

Immediate Need. Leading communications products manufacturer a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Northeast Texas. Local candidates preferred. The position requires prior antenna system and manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities:

-> Create structural and mechanical designs and perform analysis
-> Independently develop new and improve existing designs
-> Create 3D models and detailed drawings and component list structures
-> Compile tables and illustrations for technical documents, and create and improve engineering computer program applications
-> Support and make presentations to management, manufacturing, field operations and technical sales personnel
-> Write computer code for engineering applications
-> Test materials, components and products
-> Assist at on-site installations, domestic and foreign, and operate installation and alignment tools and equipment
-> Protect corporate proprietary documentation and produce compliant and accurate documents

Requirements:

-> Bachelors Degree in Engineering (preferable Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Manufacturing)
-> Five years of antenna experience OR ten years of related experience
-> Design and drafting using AutoCad and/or SolidWorks
-> Mechanical and structural design analysis and strong mechanical aptitude
-> Clear and concise technical writing and communications skills
-> PC fluency, Microsoft Office and database ability
-> Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing workflow processes and design functions
-> Knowledge of steel and aluminum material properties and design codes
