Sales Manager - Technical/Waterproofing/Drilling 60-80 K/yr

A leading environmental and construction technologies company has an immediate need for a Technical Sales Manager in its West Coast territory. You will execute the sales and marketing plan for its products and services including concrete waterproofing for underground structures, lining systems, and non-oil and gas related drilling applications. If you are a season professional with a demonstrated ability to grow a territory this is an excellent opportunity.

Responsibilities:

-> Identify engineers, governmental agencies and influence same to use products in the territory
-> Develop knowledge of the Technical Help Desk to provide customer support on technical issues
-> Define and develop national accounts in the territory
-> Define, coordinate, and execute technical sales and marketing support including technical sales presentations, trade shows, customer visits and job site support
-> Maintain accurate contact and sales opportunity database in accordance with standard sales management procedures
-> Prove leadership in development of strategy and action plans to accomplish business objectives

Requirements:

-> BS Degree: Engineering preferred, Business accepted with strong technical experience
-> 3+ years in related geosynthetic or construction industry technical sales preferred
-> General exposure to and understanding of the manufacturing, distribution, sales and service functions for industrial products
-> Ability to travel 60-70%
-> STABLE WORK HISTORY
