6 month Contract opportunity for Cisco Network Engineer(s) with 3-5 years of hands on experience with a variety of Cisco Products in the Richmond, VA, area

Responsibilities:

-> Work as part of a technical team with representation from to complete the Network Transformation and Server Re-IP work associated with various state agencies
-> Prepare appropriate documentation and weekly status reports related to these efforts
-> Evaluate legacy server, network, and security configurations, develop the detail plan for migration from the current legacy network to the new MPLS network
-> Implement the hands-on execution of that plan, working in conjunction with the assigned Server and Security resources

Requirements:

-> 3 years experience as Network Engineer with a variety of Cisco Products
-> Demonstrated experience involving MPLS and PIX
-> Willing to use personal vehicle for reimbursable business travel
-> Must be available for off-shift and weekend support work as necessary

• Do you hold a BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar technical Degree? In what discipline and where was it earned?

• Describe you experience configuring Cisco routers and switches across all hardware platforms. Where and when

• Describe you MPLS & PIX exposure

• Describe your experience where you were responsible to evaluate legacy server, network, and security configurations, develop the detail plan for migration from the current legacy network to the new MPLS network. Where and when

• Are you willing to use your personal vehicle for business use if reimbursed for expenses?
