Project Manager - Steam/Path/Machining 59.9-100 K/yr

Searching for Steam Path Machining Guru with maintenance and overhaul machining experience on Large Steam Turbines made by Westinghouse, GE or Alstrom to provide Project Management, Engineering and Technical Direction for customer site and in-shop projects.

Responsibilities:

-> Provide Steam Path Repair Assessments to clients and related direct ion to Field Service Personnel
-> Provide support and technical assistance on special projects for the Steam Path Business, both in-shop and at customer sites
-> Create project plans and schedules and track progress against plans
-> Responsible for project risk management- identify, assess, manage and minimize project risks to successful project completion
-> Responsible for project change control- insure the appropriate solution or budget is presented so that projected business benefits are realized

Requirements:

-> BS Engineering, related Technical Degree or equivalent experience
-> 7+ years of recent, directly related, experience of Steam Path maintenance and overhaul machining on Large Steam Turbines
-> Knowledge of machining applications both in-shop and field locations
-> Ability to travel as necessary to fulfill client requirements
-> PMP Certification desired

• Please describe your experience of machining applications in field locations. Where and When?

• Are you available for unrestricted business travel?
