Government Relations - Government/FERC/DOE 110-120 K/yr

Location: Washington, DC, USA
Our client that serves the electric power industry has an immediate need for a Director of Government Relations for an office in the metro Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities:

-> Coordinate and develop relationships with FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission), DOE and federal and state agencies
-> Monitor legislation that can impact the bulk power industry and report progress to management

Requirements:

-> BS or higher degree preferably Political Science, and/or knowledge and understanding of federal and state agencies
-> Knowledge of the power industry
-> Excellent communication skills
-> Be proficient in Microsoft Office products
-> Must be able to travel throughout the US and Canada
