Immediate Need!!
Large Global Power Generating Company located in Southeast, Pennsylvania is actively looking for a Project Engineer with extensive experience working with nuclear projects in utilities, or similar field.

Responsibilities:

-> Oversee the installation of the upgraded telephone and communications system( The installation consists of electrical components and cables including fiber optics inside the Power Block)
-> Oversee installation testing and installation performance
-> Provide constructability input to alternative evaluation and design development
-> Ensures Clearance Order Holders' responsibilities are assigned to qualified individuals
-> Works with Project Manager to ensure award of installation contracts and purchase orders to meet outage-planning milestones
-> Participate in bid evaluations
-> Work with Project Team to develop Scope of Work (SOW) document for procurement of contractor services or equipment
-> Ensure completion of work package planning
-> Estimates, monitors, controls, and reports engineering costs
-> Works with Project Team to prepare the conceptual design
-> Provide contracting and procurement strategies for engineering material and vendor services
-> Lead the design team in developing an approved Engineering Change Package
-> Lead the design team in design verification walkdowns
-> Present design scope, schedule, or cost changes to the Project Manager for approval prior to proceeding

Requirements:

-> A minimum of 10 years experience coordinating Nuclear Projects
-> Experience project planning, estimating, coordinating, and overseeing nuclear projects, installation performance, and installation testing
-> Experience participating in bid evaluations
-> Experience leading a design team in design verification walkdowns
