DCS Engineer - DCS/Systems/Design 70-80 K/yr

Location: Trona, CA, USA
A Chemical Plant located in a remote Desert Region in proximity to Death Valley, California is actively searching for an Distributed Control System Design Engineer. Relocation is available. Cost of living is comparable to the national average and below CA averages.

Responsibilities:

-> Designs Distributed Control Systems from the drawing board to implementation
-> Responsible for hands on loop checks, design and systems integration
-> Provides electrical maintenance engineering and technical support to the operation
-> Develop and implement electrical system & equipment reliability improvement projects and programs
-> Analyze, troubleshoot and facilitate the repair of plant electrical generation, distribution and control equipment
-> Works closely with the Senior Electrical Technician and others in accomplishing goals

Requirements:

-> Five to 10 years experience in a plant environment
-> A high degree of technical competence and hands-on experience in leading the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of plant electrical and control equipment
-> A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE, BSET, BSEET) required
-> Experience in designing DCS systems from the drawing board to implementation
-> Hands on experience with DCS systems integration
-> Hands on experience with DCS configurations
-> Hands on experience with loop checks
