Laboratory Technician - R&D/Clinical Lab/Scientist 20-23 $/hr

World wide leader of medical products and services is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist for a 3+ month contract, possible temp to hire contract assignment in Duluth, GA.

Responsibilities:

-> Candidate will coordinate shelf life, stability and feasibility stability studies for new and existing products, including writing and executing protocols and reports, data collection and analysis, and regular review and trending of stability data
-> Responsible for all calculations associated with other chemical/physical experiments including basic statistical analysis and reporting and documentation of data
-> Helps administer all systems needed to run the laboratory (SOPs, safety, ordering of supplies etc.)

Requirements:

-> EDUCATION >> Minimum Required: BS in related Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics) or Entry-level MS in same disciplines
-> Candidate must be proficient at performing chemical bench studies, including wet chemistry and UV/Vis spectroscopy, as well as physical measurements of polymer samples as needed
-> Basic knowledge of statistics is required
