QA/QC Technician - Wood/Quality Control/Technician

Location: Lena, LA, USA
A manufacturer is seeking 2 QC Technicians to work in Alexandria, LA. This position works rotating shifts. Some relocation assistance available

Responsibilities:

-> Raw material evaluation
-> Process monitoring and product testing
-> Data collection/entry
-> Report Preparation
-> Participate in plant committees and Standard Operation Procedure preparation

Requirements:

-> Bachelor's degree in wood science, industrial technology, engineering/management, or related field
-> Competence in mathematics and basic statistics is essential
-> Effective communication and coordination within the department and with production supervisors are a must
-> Previous experience in quality control in the wood products industry is desirable
