Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device/Process Validation/DOE

IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY in Minneapolis MN for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with a Worldwide Manufacturer of Medical Equipment. This is a contract position.

Responsibilities:

-> Completes Design History File documentation, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
-> Determines manufacturing operation requirements and process parameters
-> Develops advanced manufacturing systems and processes
-> Develops plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability, Develops product and process improvements
-> Reviews product performance data to identify trends
-> Supports manufacturing, development, and implementation processes

Requirements:

-> Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field REQUIRED
-> Three years minimum experience in Manufacturing processes with a medical Device manufacturing company
-> Software Application Knowledge/Engineering: MS Outlook MS Visio Documentum eMatrix MS Access MS PowerPoint MS Project

Questions you will be asked:

• Do you posses an Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field? Describe any additional education or certification.

• Describe your three years minimum as a manufacturing engineer for a medical device manufacturer. Be sure to include in your answer and resume your experience with Design History File documentation, Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC). When and Where.

• Specifically describe your experience performing process and equipment validations. When and Where.

• Do you speak any foreign languages? Spanish is a PLUS.

• Describe your knowledge and experience with the following Software Applications: MS Outlook MS Visio Documentum eMatrix MS Access MS PowerPoint MS Project.
