Leading Process Design Engineering and Manufacturer based in northern New Jersey has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

-> The position will review, recommend, and assist our ASME Code vendors in this area to insure compliance with the Code
-> Review of both drawings and calculations for pressure vessels (towers, tanks, heat exchangers, etc.)

Requirements:

-> MUST have with experience with COMPRESS (ASME Code Calculations), Algor (FEA), and AutoCAD
-> Experience should include in addition to ASME Code pressure calculations, wind, and seismic load analysis, nozzle load calculations, attached internals, vessel supports (lugs, rigs, skirts, saddles, & legs), WRC-107 attachment calculations, temperature gradients and differential thermal expansion, ladders and platforms, etc
-> Knowledge of piping design and TEMA Standards is a definite PLUS

• What level of competency do you have to review both drawings and calculations for pressure vessels (towers, tanks, etc.)? Describe.

• Describe your experience with reviewing, recommending, and assisting client-s ASME Code vendors in this area to insure compliance with the Code. When and Where.
