A leading electric utilities company is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist with cooperative or electrical utility experience in Central, NC.

Responsibilities:

-> The successful candidate will handle diverse tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
-> Assist employees and managers in all areas of HR and payroll processing
-> Organize work to meet deadlines

Requirements:

-> A minimum of 2 years experience in Employee Relations and Payroll for a cooperative or electric utility
-> Consummate people skills with ability to relate and resolve conflicts/issues in diverse environments
-> Knowledgeable using ADP, Microsoft Office 2007 and standard office equipment
-> Working knowledge of Federal, State, Local Employment and Labor Laws
-> Ability to maintain high level confidentiality of records and documentation
-> Must adhere to the highest standards of ethics and conduct
-> Occasional overtime may be required
