Field Service Technician - Electrical/Switchgear/Relay 60-80 K/yr

Location: Portland, OR, USA
Client has an immediate need in the Portland, OR area for an Electrical Field Service Technician / Engineer to troubleshoot, test, perform start-up, and inspect complex electrical systems, and moderately complex relay calibration and power metering. Salary listed is an approximation so all eligible candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Instrument transformer tests
-> Power transformer testing
-> Automatic transfer switch troubleshooting
-> Generator testing
-> Power meter calibration
-> High voltage circuit breaker testing

Requirements:

-> Must have solid troubleshooting capabilities, relay calibration, use of load and power quality recording instrumentation, infrared scanners, medium voltage breaker and switchgear testing experience
-> Experience performing start-up services on switchgear up through the 500 kV class
-> Must be willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work as needed
-> Any system studies experience is a plus
-> NETA level III certification is a big plus
-> Relocation assistance will be considered for eligible candidates
