Excellent opportunity for a Sr. LEAD RESERVOIR ENGINEER in Houston, TX. Need strong reservoir engineering experience including simulation, probabilistic and/or statistical methods, and recovery mechanisms.

Responsibilities:

-> Team role in planning field developments using comprehensive static and dynamic modeling, evaluation and optimization of development concepts, facility design, and economic prognosis
-> Responsible for all reservoir engineering aspects of the field development proposal including dynamic reservoir modeling, selection and optimization of the appropriate recovery process and risk/uncertainty analysis
-> Evaluate recovery processes including water flooding using extreme reach horizontal wells as well as Enhanced Oil Recovery techniques

Requirements:

-> 10 to 15 years experience including 5 years in field development. Prefer deep-water experience such as Gulf of Mexico BS Engineering, A PLUS to have MS
-> BS Engineering, A PLUS to have MS
-> Requires solid Hands-on experience in reservoir simulation including recent in-depth experience that is preferably directly related to field development activity
-> Requires experience using probabilistic and/or statistical methods for production forecasting and uncertainty quantification as well as specific experience with carbonate reservoirs, compositional recovery processes, use of 4D seismic data, and/or long horizontal wells
-> Need solid background in the 'classical' reservoir engineering and recovery mechanisms
