Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
A leading telecommunications network provider has an opening for RF Engineers in its Atlanta metro area office. You will be a member of a team with national responsibility for the provisioning associated with the growth of their 3G network.

Responsibilities:

-> Input translations for all new 3G cell sites for mobility
-> Create/Prepare & validate scripts to be run in the RNC, Node B & MSN
-> Complete Pre & Post checks of all systems including Health Checks, etc
-> Create/Prepare/Update Work Orders, Trouble Tickets, Status Reports
-> Troubleshoot & Operate all 3G Network Systems/Components
-> Assist others in resolving complex &/or chronic problems in the 3G Network
-> Demonstrate high proficiency in resolving complex problems with 3G Network components
-> Translations from MSC to Node B

Requirements:

-> Demonstrated script preparation and execution expertise
-> In-depth understanding of the UMTS data translations- Core, RAN and Node B
-> Expertise in preparing and executing scripts & otherwise controlling and operating systems in a live 3G network
-> Experience with: ALU LCP/LSS, ALU RAN, Ericsson RAN, Nortel MSC, Tellabs MSN, ALU MSN
-> Understanding of GSM call flow
-> Experience with MS Office, advanced user of Excel
