Quality Engineer - Quality/Supplier/Aerospace Electronics

Location: Atlanta, GA, USA
Immediate Need in the Greater Atlanta,area for a Quality Field Engineer.. This is a contract opportunity expected to last 9+ months. Great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a global leader in the Aerospace industry. All local qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

-> Plans, organizes, directs on all supplier quality related activities to assure fulfillment of contract/purchase order requirements
-> Assures that customer quality imposed requirements are adhered to by supplier and that a quality system is maintained
-> Reviews quality assurance procedures, corrective action reports and purchase orders in order to reduce /eliminate supplier product defects
-> May audit suppliers for compliance to their Quality system

Requirements:

-> Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Science or equivalent experience
-> Work experience/knowledge/inspection of printed wiring boards, hybrid processing and laser optics are desired
-> Must be familiar with (ESD) Electronic Static Discharge and (FOD) Foreign Object Debris procedures, AS9100, AS9001, AS9002, related IPC and Mil-STD specifications
-> Also, must have good communication, inspection and blue print/3D Model skills
-> Extensive travel required to supplier sites in area

• Do you have experience and knowledge of inspection of printed wiring boards, hybrid processing and laser optics? If so which ones have you worked with. Please provide details on your experience and responsibilities.

• Do you have experience and knowledge inspection of blue prints and 3D modelling software? If so which ones have you worked with. Please provide details on your experience.
