As someone who has always travelled the world & kept a manic schedule you are probably ready to step back & smell the roses yet not quite ready to withdraw totally from all of the action. You’ve always prided yourself on bringing projects in on time & on budget and have thrived on mentoring and developing the next generation of managers.
On offer is the opportunity to continue using these key skills overseeing major mining projects ($400m - $1billion) throughout the world. You will be employed on a full time basis and will become part of a virtual network of Project Directors providing ongoing advice to various project mangers who are on the ground. Current project sites include Africa, Australia, Asia, North & South America.
Ideally your experience will have been gained on large projects, perhaps managing multiple or fleets of projects at the same time, in the mining sector however interested individuals with solid project management experience in oil or gas or major construction projects are also encouraged to apply. A passion for developing teams & up and coming executives is essential as is the ability to work autonomously & to deliver the results with a minimum of fuss.
