Using a customized program to view structural plans; organize and accurately quantify construction elements in preparation for pricing. Attention to detail and values; accurate data entry of quantified values into an estimating software application and Microsoft Excel. Reading and understanding bid documents and manuals.

Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
(National Capital Reg - Paranaque City)

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; previous experience in material take off is a definite plus.
* Proficient in the use of computers.
* General knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent at a minimum.
* Ability to view and understand drawings & specifications in spatial relations. (Will need to read and interpret plans)
* Ability to apply critical thinking
* Ability to recognize and analyze potential problems
* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

* Responsibilities:
* Quantity surveying (Take Off)
* Recognizing and quantifying construction elements
* Organizing similar elements for pricing
* Reviewing bid documents. Includes: Architectural and structural plans/drawings, specifications and manuals

* Data Entry
* Accurately entering quantities into an estimating application
* Accurately entering formwork related quantities in Microsoft Excel

* Status: Full time, Employee
