Quantity Surveyor
(Sabah - Based in Kota Kinabalu)

Responsibilities:
* Responsible to assist the senior QS in the overall QS department operation of projects assigned to you (take-off, BQ & Material, Tendering & Cost Analysis, WO, Certification & VO, Developer Coordination, Drawings & Consultant Coordination and Construction & Commercial Admin).
* Accountable for the full spectrum of construction and commercial functions of projects assigned to you.
* Plan, Organize and Lead the Construction and Commercial department and all aspect of construction and commercial support to the Company.
* Ensures that all construction and commercial activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner, set targets for the team members and provide the necessary coaching to further optimized performance.
* Responsible for initiating improvement in the Quality System, making proper recommendation, follow-up and taking the necessary action.
* Responsible to check and verify site requisition on materials, equipment and contracting works.
* Responsible to liaise with Project Manager and monitor sub contractor tender and works.
* To liaise with Consultant on pre and post project matter
* To prepare cost control or cost comparison from time to time.

Requirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Industrial), Mathematics, Quantity Survey, Architecture or equivalent.
* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Possess knowledge about budgeting.
* Able to work independently.
* Good communication skills, matured personality, positive attitude and committed.
* Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
* Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
