About the Opportunity
The Casman Group of Companies is looking for two skilled Project Managers to join their team in Fort McMurray.
The main responsibility of this role is to be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and directing the activities of a residential construction unit on time and within budget.
More specifically, the successful candidate will:
• Direct the production process including acquisition, schedule development, proposal writing, creation of construction projects, and contract negotiations;
• Receive and critically review work orders, preliminary plans, and proposals to determine feasibility;
• Coordinate construction activities including scheduling manpower and equipment requirements;
• Supervise and train foremen, trade employees, administrative support, and key personnel;
• Represent the organization at various community and business meetings, and promote existing and new programs or policies;
• Oversee the supervision of personnel which includes hiring, promotions, work allocation, training, and motivating employees;
• Develop and implement short and medium range operational plans, goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures;
• Perform other duties that are required of a similar nature or level.
The ideal candidate will have completed technical training in construction, construction management, or project management. You must have substantial progressive management experience with several years serving in a foreman capacity.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package starting at $90,000 per year depending on experience.
