IMMEDIATE NEED!!! Client located in the state of Indiana has an immediate need for a Technical Support Engineer. The primary focus of this position is to serve as a problem solver in the customer's plant so candidates must have a proven track record in Technical Customer Service, trouble shooting, and root cause resolution. In addition, the candidate will be a member of a closure development project team with focus on application requirements. Activity would include laboratory testing through sound statistical methods to develop customer application specifications. Broad based business understanding is mandatory as the selected candidate will be the link between manufacturing, product development, sales and the customers. Requirements should include: B.S. degree in a technical discipline ie. engineering, packaging, chemistry, physics, or equivalent experience; 2-5 years experience in the closures/packaging industry (ie. closure, capping, packaging for bottling customers - soft drink, juice/isotonic, water, adult beverages, food, motor oil); Technical/systems understanding of the company's closure products, closure machinery, and packaging equipment; Understanding of customers, competitors, and co-suppliers' products. 40-70% travel. All travel expenses covered. Multiple language skills are highly desirable. Benefits and relocation available.
