ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN opportunities in Nebraska. Requires 2-3+ years experience with automation controls and PLCs. A PLUS to have a 2 years training in electrical/electronic or equivalent education. Must be familiar with standard recognized troubleshooting practices and able to reference National Electrical Codes. Need working knowledge of complex electrical/electronics equipment and circuits, ability to read and edit PLC programming, complex materials, checklist, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches. Initial assignment is second shift 2:30 pm 10:45 pm. Must have good English verbal and written communication skills and physically able to work in a typical plant electrical technician role.

Position will analyze, troubleshoot, install and repair electrical systems on industrial manufacturing equipment; repair electronic components and controls used in manufacturing; troubleshoot complex electrical equipment such as proximity sensing devises and emergency stop switches; perform traditional electrical power/wire hook ups; perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration and lubrication of equipment; and use of a wide variety of hand tools, equipment, instruments, wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and manuals in performing electrical maintenance.
