Engineering and Construction firm is searching for a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with 10 to 15+ years experience to work in their SE PA office. Position will involve project-level responsibilities for the design and specification of: shallow and deep foundation systems for buildings, vessels, and equipment; retaining walls; tanks, and vaults (concrete/steel/below ground/above ground); monorail and hoist systems; pipe racks/bridges; and platforms and stairs. Additional responsibilities include the evaluation of existing structures, preparation of demolition plans, and the structural evaluation of existing roofing systems. The individual will produce engineering calculations, construction-level drawings, and specifications for the structural components of projects. The position requires Bachelors degree Civil/Structural Engineering with 10 -15 years experience is required. PE is required. Up to 20% travel. Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance is required. Experience in wastewater and process treatment facilities is desirable. Familiarity with building codes (International Building Code, ASCE 7, etc.) is required. Construction experience and technical writing skills are desired.
