Leading aviation engineering and systems company has immediate need for an Avionics Sales Manager at its suburban Phoenix location. Ideal candidate will have a BS degree and 5 years + technical or program administration experience in corporate aviation industry; must have extensive knowledge of flight deck systems; must have solid knowledge of cabin entertainment, cabin lighting, cockpit upgrades and regulatory environment; must be knowledgeable of aircraft systems both operationally and technically.; must have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Position is responsible for overseeing Avionics opportunities and customers, both in sales and customer relations; will be expected to generate prospects, formulate work scope specifications, and finalize the sale of business aviation aircraft avionics, repairs, and / or modifications; will develop / maintain relationships with avionics manufacturers, suppliers and vendors to identify forward fit and retrofit opportunities; will work closely with interior designers, engineers, production managers, and project coordinators; extensive travel is required.
