Location: New Castle, PA, USA
Client located in New Castle, PA is searching for a Continuous Improvement Manager. This position will be responsible for developing, coordinating and conducting training and development programs to initiate and sustain continuous improvement in Quality, Speed, Flexibility and Value. This candidate will be responsible for product quality and the development of on-site quality systems, particularly ISO 9001:2000. This candidate will conduct analysis of training and development needs of all levels of personnel, and design training programs to support the strategic plan of the company. This candidate will be fully responsible for the administration of the facilitys ISO9001:2000 quality system by compiling records and maintain a continuous study of rework, scrap, and warranty expenses, and recommend any improved method or procedure changes. This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Engineer, Production Management or a related field of study. Formal training in lean manufacturing techniques and methods. A minimum of 3 years of varied practical, results-oriented experience in lean manufacturing development and implementation, including developing and providing employee training. Experience with the administration of an ISO 9001:2000 quality system. Previous experience in a metal cutting environment preferred.
