IMMEDIATE NEEDS! TOP PAY FOR TOP CANDIDATES! Client involved with the engineering & construction of process plants (gas, refinery, petrochemical, & chemical) is currently looking for 4 Civil/Structural Designers for a 12+ month contract assignment. You must be proficient with using PDS Frameworks software. You need 5-25+ years of experience creating civil & structural engineering designs for large process plant EPC projects. You need experience with the following: (1) concrete buildings and foundations, (2) structural steel for supports, platforms, and buildings, (3) rebar detailing, (4) steel detailing, (5) preparation of fabrication drawings, & (6) review of vendor documents. You also need a working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for structural design such as IBC, AISC, ACI, AWS, NFPA, AASHTO, and OSHA.
Questions you will be asked:
• Do you have 5-25+ years of experience as a Civil-Structural Designer supporting process plant EPC projects?
• How many years of experience do you have using PDS Frameworks software? When was the last time you used this software?
• What type of process plant projects have you supported? (refineries, gas processing, air separation, hydrogen, etc...)
• Do you have a working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for structural design such as IBC, AISC, ACI, AWS, NFPA, AASHTO, and OSHA?
• Detail your experience with the following: (1) concrete buildings and foundations, (2) structural steel for supports, platforms, and buildings, (3) rebar detailing, (4) steel detailing, (5) preparation of fabrication drawings, & (6) review of vendor documents.
