An engineering client in Concord, CA, is seeking a Senior CAD Drafter. This person will create designs in AutoCAD, working on electrical, civil, and mechanical projects. This requires at least 5 years experience with AutoCAD, working on electrical, civil, and-or mechanical designs, creating layouts, electrical designs, material take-offs and Bills of Materials. This is a full time position but the client prefers to hire Temp-to-Permanent. No per diem is available local candidates are preferred or those willing to relocate at their own expense.
Questions you will be asked:

• Please describe your proficiency with AutoCAD, 1-10. Please include versions and how many hours experience you have in each.

• Please summarize your CAD drafting and design experience, including specific duties involved, when, where, size of project. Please include design standards used.

• Please describe your educational background, including diplomas, degrees, and certifications received.

• Where do you live now? When can you start work?

• What is your most recent pay rate?
