Engineering Manager - Management/Medical Equipment

Immediate Need for a Clinical Engineering Manager in a hospital environment in New York City. Job responsibilities include repair of biomedical engineering equipment, safety testing, design, modification, and R&D tasks as needed, training, purchase and requisition activities, pre-purchase evaluation, contract management, budget preparation and monitoring, and management of technology areas. Must have comprehensive knowledge of equipment maintenance practices and management level responsibilities. This is a 24 hour on-call position. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Technology from a accredited university. International Certification Commission Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) certification preferred. Must have 10 years related experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. Salary commensurate with experience.
