A leading consulting engineering firm with an Oakland office has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer to prepare rail transit and passenger railroad track alignments using Bentley MicroStations InRail Program for several current assignments. This Civil Engineer position would also prepare site plans, drainage, utilities, etc. for rapid transit and commuter rail stations, as well as for highways and other major infrastructure projects. Client will provide training in MicroStation InRail if the selected candidate does not already have this expertise. However, candidates should have a minimum of three years experience in rail transit and/or passenger railroad track alignment design. The qualified candidate will have a BSCE or equivalent and have 10 years general Civil and Civil Transit/Transportation design engineering experience with 3 years in rail or highway alignment and geometric design.
