World class manufacturing company has immediate need for a SAP Systems/Operations Analyst at its suburban Houston location. Ideal candidate will have a BS degree and 3 - 5 years relevant professional business experience in a Manufacturing /Purchasing environment; must have advanced SAP experience (Material Master (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Purchasing modules); advanced Variable Configurator (VC) experience is a plus; in depth understanding of SAP application and database development concepts is required. Position will work closely with manufacturing department in configuring and maintaining the SAP MM and PP modules; will serve as technical SAP lead for Operations team and will be primary interface to corporate SAP core team; will work with business end users and team members on support, implementation, training and optimization issues; will work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making business process recommendations. Questions you will be asked:

• Describe your experience with Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) SAP Modules; give practical examples.

• Do you have experience configuring and maintaining the Variable Configurator (VC) in SAP? Give specific examples.

• Describe your direct experience with providing Product Master Data maintenance, support, and error correction.

• Do you have experience working in centralized SAP support structure (with corporate core team), how were you effective working in this environment?

• Describe your experience working with SAP Kanban Module in a lean manufacturing environment.
